Hello lovely friends! Welcome back to my blog.
As you may already know,, I always love photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Brooke & Andrew’s wedding, either! This couple though did things a little bit different…I actually have never seen this at a wedding I’ve photographed before!! They did a BLIND First look! Now, I’ve done blind first looks before where the bride a groom around around a corner of a building holding hands & the groom has a handkerchief around his eyes or something like that… well, this was different because the couple wanted the BLIND first look to feel like it was not blind! Isn’t that interesting? Enjoy seeing the photos I captured and tell me if you could tell that he was not looking at her during their first look or not! (She definitely got to peek at him though!)
This wedding was at the beautiful Top of the Rock chapel overlooking Table Rock Lake in the Ozark Mountains. http://www.bigcedarlodge.comThe reception was at the Wine Cellar their at the Venue. During the reception a bagpiper played as a real cannon was fired! After cocktails on the lawn and the cannon ceremony, Broc http://www.elevateentertainment.com got the party started and no one left the dance floor!

The Wedding ceremony included a candle lighting service and lovely remarks about the couple from their friend (and neighbor) who watched Brooke, the bride grow up right next door!
Andrew proposed at a Rodeo, so it was only fitting to have a few cowboy hats on hand during the dancing at their reception!
You could tell they were really having the time of their lives surrounded by family and friends who loved them!
As for me, one of my personal favorite moments of the wedding was when they did the blind first look. We were able to compromise & do photos before the wedding and have 2 different places for couple portraits, and the Groom was able to NOT SEE the bride before the wedding like he requested. He couldn’t wait to see her walk down that aisle!
Okay, enough talk. Let’s get to the good stuff..the wedding photos!!
